Sales Specialist - IBM Power & Storage Products

Role Summary:
Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving the sales of IBM Power Systems and Storage solutions through a network of Channel Partners and End Customers. The individual will work closely with partners to enable them, develop strategic sales plans, and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage relationships with Channel Partners and End Customers to sell IBM Power Systems and Storage products.
• Provide technical and sales support to partners, including product training, sales presentations, and marketing assistance.
• Work closely with IBM and other internal stakeholders to create business plans that align with sales objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities with partners and grow the IBM Power & Storage portfolio.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure partners have the necessary resources to promote IBM solutions.
• Drive certification initiatives for partners in IBM Power and Storage products.

Key Qualifications:
• Proven sales experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on IBM Power Systems and Storage.
• Experience working with Channel partners in the technology industry.
• Strong understanding of IBM's Power and Storage solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Desired Education: BBA or MBA (Marketing)

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with IBM partner enablement programs.
• Certifications in IBM Power & Storage solutions.
• Familiarity with regional market trends and partner ecosystems.

Required to understand IBM Data and AI software, Partner Plus programs and able to prepare solution architecture and work with reseller to execute on IBM tech sales strategies in our plan to IBM.
Plan and enable tech sales team for the Resellers and help them use benefits, IBM technical resources and support tools.
Must be a proficient individual and to become one, achieve a proficiency badge associated to IBM Software products and a new proficiency 60 days prior to expiry of the current.
Provide software technical pre-sales support for the Resellers and work with BPs on their skilling.
Act as focal point by leveraging the IBM Channel Tech Sales teams
Ensure right level of technical communication in awareness events for Business Partners
Deliver skill transfer sessions to Business Partners based on IBM SW portfolio
